Our studio is managed by Stephen Ives, who has more than 20 years experience in delivering artistic projects focusing on digital and new media. He was appointed as a lead artist/facilitator for PVA’s LabCulture during 2004-5, leading artist workshops at Substation in Singapore, CCA in Glasglow, Artsway in New Forest and Space in London. His role involved supporting artists to develop artistic projects using digital media. He is also a founding member of Hacker Farm; an artists collective that produce audio-visual performances and installations using found materials and new technology (www.hackerfarm.net). Performances include Nottingham Contemporary, Tusk Festival in Newcastle upon Tyne, Bad Timing in Cambridge, Supernormal in Oxford, international performances in The Hague, Holland and Reykjavik, Iceland. Their album/CD release UHF was reviewed by the Guardian and given a 4 star rating. He is currently working on new digital commissions for Colston Hall, Bristol and New Brewery Arts, Cirencester.
