SAT 16 May, 2-4pm.

This is the first of a series of events, alongside a 12 months programme of residencies, commissions, workshops and publications, funded by Arts Council England and South Somerset District Council.
Event includes ‘Show & Tell’ by resident artist Gavin Morris.  Gavin will talk about his interest and artistic practice behind his work, including technical aspects.
Plus, a ‘sneak peek’ of a new commission, developed in collaboration with Farmer Glitch. A light and sound installation that will be first shown at the Colston Hall as part of Lau Land (www.colstonhall.org/shows/lau-land/).
There will be a selection of interactive digital works from the Digital Funfair. Bring your friends and families and get hands on and have fun with some of Gavin’s digital inventions.
Gavin Morris is working at our project space to develop a new commission that aims to engage with communities and audiences in Yeovil. His practice in developing accessible work using digital media technology will intrigue and entice local audiences. Gavin created the Digital Funfair (www.digitalfunfair.co.uk), a festival-based interactive entertainment experience which comprises a collection of interactive multi-media installations masked as old style fairground entertainment.
