Eastville Project Space is delighted to present the new exhibition, ‘as eye saw it’ by artist Fiona Winning.
Winning works with a wide range of media, including painting, drawing, print and installation.
‘From the corner of the room, stacked (out of sight, out of mind), now into view’. This exhibition is a selection and review of past works, mainly paintings that make reference to an interest in landscape, together with a new installation created at Eastville Project Space.
Fiona Winning was one of the four selected artists to work with us during micro-residency programme in 2015-16. She presented her ‘Eastville Eats’ project in 2015. She is now based in Bristol, and is one of the Spike Associates. In 2016, she began working in collaboration with fellow spike associate artist, Alessio Mazzaro, on ‘The Do Nothing Club’, an ongoing project that seeks to; provide opportunities and permission for time to do nothing, and encourage support from a growing membership comprised of people who have participated. Other ongoing projects include ‘Sofa So Good’, conversations on sofas with people talking about the good things in their lives.
Exhibition runs from 30 March – 8 April (Open Thur to Sat, 12noon – 4.30pm, other times appointment only)
