Residency

Micro-Residencies 2015 -16 (application is now close)

We are looking for 4 artists to work with us between September 2015 and April 2016; to contribute to the research and development phase of the Eastville Project Space. The residency offers opportunities for artists to research and develop artistic projects that are relevant to the Eastville Project Space and its surrounding area. It will support us in forging links with the neighbourhood community, develop partnerships and establish a strong artistic programme that reflects the characteristics of the place. We welcome different ideas and approaches from artists working in different disciplines. Selected artists will be offered curatorial and professional development support to develop ideas for future projects.

Who is suitable

Artist working in a socially engaging practice that are eager to work in collaboration. You will be interested in involving people and developing work in response to a specific place.  We welcome artists working in different disciplines, including visual arts, writing, sound, new media and design. We are particular interested in working with mid-career artists at national and international levels and artists who wish to explore digital innovation in all aspects of their work.
